I agree and recognize the value of the carnivore diet as a way to reset or as a medium to long term medical intervention for those suffering from autoimmune conditions.

I argue that most people don’t need to be so restrictive. Many have better outcomes when they include carbohydrates.

I could see where fiber comes into play, as that can help. Otherwise, I don't see any other carb being a good idea.

I’m not convinced fiber is all that important if you don’t eat processed junk. And sure, this doesn’t apply to everyone, but for a lot of people carbs help keep sex hormones in a healthy range, make it easier to absorb minerals like sodium, send the body a “plenty of fuel” signal that keeps stress hormones in check, and boost athletic performance.

These issues become more apparent after eating this way for a prolonged period of time.

I am full carnivore due to autoimmune issues and I tend to agree.

Most of ourfamily are meat based, I see no need to add veggies or fibre, but fruit seems to be ok(just not over doing it 🤷🏼‍♀️) . My youngest grandchild 15 months is leaps and bounds in front of children her age in our community.
