Navigating the correct handshake has been an ongoing challenge for myself, have some emapthy for us gen X dudes who are caught between the dead fish and manshake eras...I've also experienced the reverse, where i went in for the man-shake with a middle aged woman who recoiled and with surprising quickness and force turned her hand to a "traditional" downwards in our grasp
