Bitcoiners saddened by the mempool state need to remember Satoshi Nakamoto never intended for day-to-day TXs to happen on-chain, but did intend for it to be permissionless and free.

I'm not saying Lightning is the answer.

I AM saying that THAT is very telling.

We're missing something...
