i'm looking forward to having some free time to explore building out a pnyxDB based distributed blossom store with demand controlled per-event replication rates (so stale data isn't taking up as much space but can be found by any node in the graph)

blossom is basically key value store for the internet, and distributing the values to store is completely flexible meaning it can be built to fit the purpose better
deciding how to spread events across a web of blossom nodes storing nostr events can be done any which way you can think of, so you can tailor this to the way the data is accessed
this will allow decoupling data storage from relays so that relays become simple caches and the storage is even more distributed, and at any given point in the network, more available
it's for public data tho, just to hammer home my current du jour hobby horse - relay storage should not randomly propagate DMs and company internal forums
