What if we dont actually know if there are more male psychopaths but only perceive it as such due to different manifestations?

Social reputation destruction vs violent physical destruction are perceived quite differently. One tends to get easily noticed while the other makes everyone else look psycho, defending itself from sight. Both of these can manifest in both sexes but, seemingly, each tends to favor one behaviour over another on average.

With this in mind I have doubts on any official number. A study on liars likely tells us the most honest group is the most likely to lie and that the liars lie the least. A study collectively gaslit and too many trust it.

And this doesnt even touch on the Machiavellians.
