I know what you mean. People I don’t really care about I might say something like that to but it’s more ‘I don’t want to upset you by saying you aren’t important enough to me to actually explain my life’, protecting their feelings not mine. For people I care about I’m more likely to make them uncomfortable by overly sharing if I’ve got stuff I’m struggling with
