How hospitals charge 10k-12k in US dollars is beyond me for something that women having doing just fine for millennia……..
Wait, what only 10-12K? I delivered in like 10 minutes of arriving at the hospital and they charged more than that. I think hospital birth is the worse robbery of.... Im not sure, but it was like it stole something from my family, baby and I. Birth at home was by far my preferred experience with my other babies.

I've been checking for this in our area, but I don't want one that's into New Age, and the only one I found who services our county was excited to add someone to their team, and they're "excited to blend her New Age midwifery knowledge".... eh no thanks!
I've had friends who used to be into that stuff and got out, so I'm not interested in bringing my children anywhere near it!! 😬
There can be a need for a hospital, but it is not necessary 99% of the time. Licensed midwives are fully aware when it's time for a trip to the hospital. If I'm wrong, we need to start opening obstetrics wards for the birthing of everything from snakes to whales.
