The only thing that scares me would be relay operators deleting events or relays going down and this effecting your balance. Is that possible?

I guess even if it is you just don't keep too many sats in there at a time, then just send to another wallet.

What is the mechanism to transfer sats from Nostr to a wallet?

very much so; but you can:

1) save your balance in relays you don't expect to delete

2) save to a few relays

keep in mind that as long as a single relay has your balance you have access -- so if your nostr client / wallet notices you are down 1 out of 3 relays with access to your wallet balance it can warn you or publish to another relay

for you to lose your money you would need to get rugged by your various relay at the same time

Amazing idea Pablo! Excited to try it!

Question: Is there a lot of extra steps a relay operator has to do to implement this? Does it use up more operating power on the relay?

relays don't need to do anything; it already works with what they have

That's amazing!

Cash out functions would be via clients right?

Thank you sir.

A+

Local relays suddenly sound kind of interesting.

I am working an iteration of the protocol so that any arbitrary amount can be issued as a single proof. When you need to pay a certain amount you split out the amount required, send that and the remainder as issued as a new proof.

Can operators delete events?

Yes. They are just entries in a database.
