If you have grave concerns about the collapse of the legacy financial system, you have not managed your risk sufficiently

I can't help but remark on the profundity of the observation that a fully-reserved (zero-risk) cash deposit bank is a risk to the banking system.

#[4] laid it out well

Yeah, that’s likely where I saw it first. It’s like ejecting the top player from your beer league because they make everyone else look bad.

If the banking system in my country collapses I will loose about 0.02 Btc - that equivalent fiat value I keep in the banks

I can manage my financial risks, but I can’t control the actions of the “majority” during times of stress. This is what truly frightens me.

Maybe I'm not fully comprehending what a collapse would look like but it seems to be that every person would be greatly affected no matter how much Bitcoin they had.

It would be bad, but much worse for you long term if you held zero Bitcoin to mitigate against this risk. Short term, there would be selling off due to a risk off situation & bitcoin is liquid & can be sold fast/easily
