Currently I have a few huge deadfall that have been suspended off the ground. I have been cutting off rounds as needed and it has been burning great, at least for our tiny little stove.

Woodpile for a larger stove in a cabin is started from all the trees we dropped clearing the site and should be well seasoned by the time we need it.
