Here's how the steak went into the freeze dryer. Had an extra tray so I filled it with ice cream sandwiches, strawberries and blueberries.

Would you be willing to share an update on how rehydration goes? I'm super curious

I've had great success rehydrating meat. I expect the same from this.

Meat has actually been the best. It doesn't over saturate. Pretty well goes to the exact state it was before freeze drying.

Nice! That's good to know in weighing the worth of one of those. Thank you

It's quite the investment, but fun.

I’m so jelly if your freeze dryer

If you're ever in the neighborhood I'll let you touch it.

How bout you just ship me your goodies - that works out better for me

I accept BTC...

Nice to see this! One of my favorite things to freeze dry is bone broth. Kind of a pain to set it up (best to pour it when the trays are already in) but it's so good to have our own broth in a form that will store almost indefinitely.

If we're ever set up to use our freeze dryer again, I'll definitely be trying more meats! Your trays are very inspiring 🤩

I figured it would be good to have protein stored away. Freeze is full, but lack of power for an extended time could make that a bad idea.

That looks really good😊
