*Sats

Added "payments" tab and currency selector (USD / EUR / JPY / SATS). It tries to guess the default fiat currency by browser locale and defaults to USD. I think USD prices are still the easiest to understand for most people.

Zaps are a way to get Fiat out of people’s head. Worst feature idea ever. Sorry to say.

Changed it back to sats and I’m happy again. Just like how the day Iris had light screen :)

There are perks with USD. Non bitcoiners will be able to put a value to a note. Easier for you to charge subscription.

But

ultimately need seemless way to install Wallet & need country guides on buying Bitcoin / P2P (this can be crowd source). So as long as they don’t convince you to go Fiat instead :)

I’m gunning for global trade and I think pairing USD / Bitcoin is going to ease up how people perceive Bitcoin. 80% of $30T global trade is in USD. On ramp and off ramp is needed. Bitcoin as global currency has a long way to go.

But / Rule of thumb from ad to sales conversion,

- 5 views before someone reads,

- 10 views before they remember and

- 20 views before they buy

So people have to see Sats being used as money for 20 times before we can convince them to use it as money. And see Bitcoin/USD pairing 10 times before they remember the conversion.

I think visuals are highly critical as it build perception. But thank you for the options, I appreciate it !

Earlier conversation with Michael on Fiat - my 2 cents on having millions of people speaking abt sats worldwide

so many Fiat conversations today :)
