There seems to have been some eventful incident around end of Jan, which had rippling effect for about 3 weeks. But the sudden drop of new users could mean another counter measure to help die down that effect. The event could be its opening up to specific markets and then the blocking of the APPs on those markets. I guess it could be related to Chinese and/or Hong Kong markets.
