But why are you buying hay?

My property is too small to produce hay for my sheep unfortunately.

I'm working up towards buying more land, I see it happening in the next few years for me.

At that point I will have unlimited hay for my needs, and some extra hay for people who really care / need it and are fine to pay a premium.

Maybe you could lease land 🤔

Everything around me is leased & even then I get into the issue of investing in someone else's land and that's a non starter for me.
