can somebody guide me through step-by-step how to set up the most simple website ever?

want to create a to-do list site, with two lists. on the left, things i’ve yet to experience, and on the right things i’ve ticked off, with the exact date and a possible link behind it which takes you to the experience of it (article basically)

never set up a website before, only worked on some while they were already set up and everything

Namecheap.com. Host it there and use website builder. It’s drag and drop and you get a free ssl cert with hosting service.

Pretty good option. Recommend Concrete5 when you outgrow it.

Thank you so much to the both of you 💜💜💜

I heard about Notion but I didn’t use it

Carrd

Perfect 💜 Does it only support drag and drop, or can I play around with HTML & CSS also? 🤔

Not sure about html css maybe framer for that or webflow or any other number of builders. Carrd is easiest and cheapest

Thank you so much, I’ll test them out tomorrow. 💜🫂 Ideally would love to build a bot, that I could @ in a nostr client, and it would add the entry right into the list on the website.

If it doesn’t have to be your own domain I might suggest Trello.

Trello supports building out websites?

No, I don’t believe so. I just meant it’s an online space you could use for your organizing your lists that you could access from any computer

I use Trello for a kanban board at work, would love if I could adapt into a site

googling what kanban is right now, sec

At its most simplest concept. It’s three columns: to do, doing, done.

Could be done with a piece of chalk on the wall or on a website with all kinds of handy features like due dates and filters.

I think it was invented in a Toyota factory in Japan but I’m not sure.

Spot on. Yes, invented in Japan and utilized heavy in the Toyota Production System.

You need a host or a site service like Ghost or square space
