99.99% of all human thought is worthless garbage.

Pure trash.

This includes written, spoken and published work from notable individuals.

Thinking is largely the act of filtering one’s own thoughts, or sifting through the worthless thoughts of others to get to the good stuff.

I don't entirely agree, whenever I have listened to someone carefully I have always discovered interesting thoughts and ideas. Even my little dog teaches me from time to time that the universe is full of originality, you just need to pay attention 🙂

Why am I so triggered by this? 😬

Is it the negative framing of all thought being worthless, garbage, trash?

Is it the '99.99%' statistic?

I don't know ..

What I do know is ..

All thoughts are worthy

Some thoughts are worthy to share

Some shared thoughts are worthy of note

You are responsible for the quality of your own thoughts

Maybe you’re triggered because you’re worried you’ve never had a worthy thought. I worry much the same and spend my time searching for one.

I'm not worried at all .. none of my thoughts are worthy, but I'm working on it too 🤙🏼

All thinking arises from non-thinking.

the written/spoken is part of the effort to clarify and filter the useful from the useless - thoughts and audience

Often times though people are just distilling garbage though. Garbage in = garbage out

Sad but true ..
