Everyone knows the devil. Not sure why I would be interested in the devil, though. As for Hitler, why is he relevant?

To be clear, this is a sincere question: I have no idea why Hitler would be relevant but I have seen many such references. What is it that makes Hitler suddenly relevant?

Uh .. okay, I'm gonna be thinking about this one. It is a little bit disturbing how everyone seems to demand perfect intentions from a person as opposed to getting involved and contributing to a shared trust (or reinforced trust, not sure what term describes this best).
You can tell that to the person, I suppose if they’re willing to listen through the hurt. I can’t get through. I can’t say anything right by them no matter how I’ve tried.
Can you give an identifying hint as to this 'person' you're referring to? I keep seeing these vague references and everything becomes very tedious, unnecessarily frustrating.
For example, there have been many many comments to the point where intentions are so mudied and so many things were said that assuming good intentions becomes a losing battle unto itself.
I don't quite understand how do you get any information on/from this 'person' if you can't interact? I have asked a few ppl and never get an answer.
I wouldn’t trouble myself over matters I can’t control. I also would never reveal who the person is. They are worthy of my respect and love nonetheless.

I have to admit: this part of the conversation seems like jumping into arbitrary topics, both about the devil and hitler.
The closest I get to the devil is probably the tv series Lucifer. I highly recommend it if you have that kind of sense of humor.
