I will watch when I have some time. Will keep an eye on the clouds too 🙂
Yes. That is the assumption and that is what I see when the sun shines through clouds. This video shows a lot of the problems with the globe model. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qEaHjPF47_E
This channel has a lot of answers to any question.

I will start off by saying that personally I don't have any investment in the shape of earth. I am watching the first video. The initial argument made by the narrator is that when ameture rockets and balloons are sent up to 20 miles high they cannot see the curve.
Assuming it is true that the radius to equator is just under 3000 miles a balloon at 20 miles altitude would only be .5% away from the surface of the earth.
If you had a table and a tiny camera hovering .5% off of that table you would also not be able to determine the size or shape of the table.
His following arguments seem to throw out the concept of gravity (saying water flows downhill and so the ocean wouldn't be flat), which makes me curious how flat earthers explain gravity.
You can calculate the drop in the globe model via geometry. Gravity is a theory. There are no proofs for it only hypothesis. You can explain everything with buoyancy and electromagnetism. There is a lot of material which describes this in detail better than I can.
I have come across the buoyancy theory before and at face value I suppose it makes as much sense as gravity, but I haven't researched it in depth.
I'm curious though, assuming it's true that the earth is flat and we are inside a firmament, how do you feel this affects your daily life? Is there an actionable change in the way you are living as a result of knowing this?
