Tonight’s #winechain is an unusual off dry Tennessee native and hybrid wine blend of locally grown Vidal Blanc, Cayuga, and Chardonel. Since it had a hint of sweetness, it went well with our slightly spicy American Chinese dinner. 🍷

Yes, a slightly sweet wine is great with spicy food. That’s why I always shake my head when Thai or Indian restaurants don’t have Riesling on their wine means. I’m not even asking for them to have a German Riesling.

German style Gewurtz are my favs for spicy food. Nice mix of flavor profile and sweetness.

Yep that’s another winner.
