I still go there over YouTube hoping to find what I'm looking for. Do you still need lbry tokens to post videos? I couldn't figure out how to participate without first having to go to a crypto exchange so I remained an observer.

a fraction of a token is required, but a few are given after registration

I have never bought any token. I received them for posting and viewing content. They're are sufficient for posting videos.

i think LBRY was tied to file storage (like arweave now), but yeah LN tips would have been nice
