Reading books on nutrition really made it easier. When you know how bad seed oils are, like at the cellular level, it just feels bad to eat. DNA damage, inflammation, and about 7 years to detox from it is a strong disincentive for me.

Yeah I’ve been avoiding (trying) seed oils for a few years now. I’ve just got a brutal sweet tooth

I have alternatives that help me. Lots of fruit. I like to make smoothies. Honey and maple syrup will usually satisfy my sweet tooth. All organic of course. There is also an ice cream brand called ice cream for bears. It’s really good and has very clean ingredients. Grass fed milk and organic honey. Those foods are enough for me to avoid corn syrup and other processed junk.
