I'm not spearheading, just advocating. Until recently, relays have mostly been framed as a necessary but cumbersome component of replacing typical social media. A relay can do much more. Fiatjaf has been building a bunch of examples, now that a few clients like Jumble, Coracle, Nostur, Yakihonne, and Nosotros, have made it possible to access and/or write to individual relays.

I don't think I'd consider the prasie relay to be an algorithm in the sense of how typical socials decide what to show you. The AI just decides what can be written there and rejects everything else. It is not a typical inbox or an outbox as we've been conditioned to understand, but more of a message board that recognizes nostr identities. Theoretically, mentions should still be making it to the recipient's notifications & the notes will spread to other relays as people respond. That seems to be how it's working anyway.

There is one for complaints, too, if you'd rather talk about nostr:nprofile1qqswswmx4rkj6d7q05dtafhpkqq2z42fc62s37jvtp642m2jkpfxc2cprpmhxue69uhkv6tvw3jhytnwdaehgu3wwa5kuef0qyt8wumn8ghj76rfwd6zumn0wd68ytnvv9hxgtcprpmhxue69uhkummjw35hxtnwdaehgu339e3k7mf0emhwpn on that one πŸ˜‚πŸ«‚

I am spearheading Aquatic Chicken Theory though. That's all me & my glorious ignorance. Please write chicken soup recipes to zap.cooking . I can only find two there. πŸ₯ΊπŸ˜‚

Not really my strong suit. I'll document my wife's next soup journey, likely ham bone soup as that's the thing lately.

I saw Vinny, nunya, and Bohemia on there when I glanced. All looked really good

That's what it's there for, to glance over and hopefully share crowd sourced recipes. Some people just want short notes & pictures for cooking inspiration, others want to follow a recipe. I'm hoping it can act for both, a sort of morphing, topic-focused magazine with the option to be social. 😊

I actually really like the concept. I'm terrible at storing recipes that work well for me, since I don't cook that often. Hoping to bookmark stuff on there, or someplace like it, going forward.

πŸ«‚ Thank you for checking out this stuff. We can't take back the internet with a replacement Twitter feed. That's just the tip of the iceberg.
