Giving someone your money and giving someone your attention are two very different things. Views are not equivalent to zaps and never will be.

Depending on context one can be more important than the other. Personal relationships I’d rather receive someone’s attention through quality time.
I’m still debating what exactly deserves zaps and in what amount on here.
Everything has its role.
Views are mostly valuable to the data collectors and for serotonin of the OP. Zaps are monetary value. Replies can offer insightful value or squander resources. Likes and Reposts/Boosts are fan acknowledgements and extension of reach or credibility.

Well said. This addresses energy exchange at all levels. Using energy that is already stored compared to producing energy in engagement with the environment
