But I've also did one on an old laptop. Just need to buy a new 2TB SSD. Even cheaper. An old laptop that's too slow for everyday usage performs very well as a bitcoin full node. In fact, much better than on a Rpi4.
Better than on a Rpi4 in regards of paid price, speed, energy consumption, UX, configurability? :)
