I'd never use metal solution for seed backup. That's the simpliest attack vector for police/government to steal your funds.
I prefer border wallets. You can have the seed for the grid in your password manager, combine multiple grids or use multiple grid depths.
thanks for input. I heard about border wallets. Anyway you can eliminate attack vectors with Shamir secret where you can have seed divided into multiple shares and have it stored in different locations geographically.
I also believe that for beginners it is important to be able to manage it while having it secure and without tremendous complexity.
Shamir is ok I guess, but it feels more complicated to setup for me then border wallets. These are super simple to setup/restore.
