The Tesla power wall + solar has been great. I got two batteries and as much solar on my house as they could fit. I basically paid $100 down payment and a week later some van showed up literally hoisted a fuckin' jolly roger flag, and I had power the next day. Biggest issue was getting Duke fuckin' energy to accept my energy back into the grid. That said, we've had two major hurricanes since and I've never lost power once in the years I've had it now.

Power back to grid?!?!? Sounds like you need to expand you home mining operations 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
It's not worth it. I just wanted to have the connectivity in a lapse. Since I also drive a spyware tesla car, most of my energy use goes to my car. Plus I don't pay for power at my office so...
I almost bought a spyware car before I went down the Bitcoin rabbit hole....🕳️
I upgraded my rig to a Wrangler manual transmission Jeep with physical key, 3 inch lift, extra gas tank for longer range (backup gas for homestead), case for "drill" with extra screws, and soft top so I could get Vitamin D during dry season in FL
My next car will be an old diesel jeep. Great value in this tesla though because there is basically nothing to go wrong and its two main component, the motors and battery, get a 100,000 mile warranty so I'm going to drive this thing until it collapses into unstability and burns me alive in a glorious conflagration.
I've thought about a Tesla as a daily driver and then not paying my license and registration on the Jeep and driving it only on weekends to extend its life. Then I remember I don't want to spend anytime in the gulag so I just keep driving it. The idea of paying car insurance on a second vehicle seems to be the most fiat thing I could...so staying humble and stacking sats
