I feel for you having had to grow up sooner and be exposed to a lot. As someone with maternal instincts I very much want to shield and protect kids and let them enjoy and enhance their childhood. It goes by so quickly.

It is great though that you were able to take those experiences and have them help propel you in a positive light!
