I also thought that maybe our memories are from past lives, but that would mean some form of reincarnation..

Maybe. And maybe it’s simply just a genetic memory that comes from your parents, grandparents, great grandparents and so on.

If what I am suggesting is true 🤷🏻‍♀️ then you have no personal memories except the ones you make in this life. The rest should come from your ancestors.
