The question is whether we will notice the difference? Television itself is a trick that fools the human eye. AGI will fool us with its intelligence, but will it be good enough. My guess is probably yes. It's going to be a wild year.

Television tricks us a little, but we still easily recognize it's limits (the edges of the screen) and we can thus distinguish it from reality. I think even if AI is very good at one particular thing, we will be able to identify the "edges" that distinguish it from human intelligence.
