SO STUPID. I just wanted to redo my linux partition, but seeing how apparently ARK is just a massive data hog, I can't make the new partition as big as I want to. So, now a simple reinstall is turning into dissambling my computer, installing the new ssd, and moving all the games over to that so i actually have space...

I've forgotten where I read this, but I really like it.
There are three kinds of data:
(1) Data whose loss could land you in prison (tax records etc)
(2) Data whose loss would cause financial or emotional harm.
(3) Data whose loss would limit your entertainment options.
Establish your online and offline backup protocols accordingly...
