My Vespa has a name, my titties have two individual names, the coo-coo-cachoo has its own name. I've always taken pride in naming just about everything....
...and yet my computer has no name. I suddenly feel like a terrible neighbor. How dehumanizing for poor computer after all the help it gives me 😮💨
Yes. I set up host names and dns rules on my network. Its way easier to just go to smb://hostname than remember ip addresses
