I love dumbbell lunges because they’re a full body exercise. Grip strength, arms, shoulders, back, core, legs, glutes and they require a good amount of control and coordination if you’re going heavy proportion of body weight. If I could only do one exercise they would be it.
Yeah, when I do full body circuits, dumbbells are typically the way to go. If I want to load up weight and isolate, I go with the barbell.
