Okay. On Cashu.me, when I try to enable his wallet with the nsec, I get an error popup that says "NDKuser not initialized".

What’s his npub? I’ve seen issues in the past which I assume are due to new users not being recognized yet.
Try using the default (random) Lightning address first. Maybe after some time, he can try entering nsec again, although it’s not recommended and not mandatory to receive zaps.
He wants to receive zaps, but he immediately wants to send zaps, too. I think if we create a wallet, but don't put his nsec in, it won't generate a lightning address he can put in on Damus. Maybe I'm wrong on this?
I've still got the cashu.me window open. I'll try a refresh to see if it helps. I do wonder if he'll need to be validated before this works.

Also noticed that when I want to retrieve/open the wallet, I have to go to #nutstash to enter the passphrase. When it opened, it didn't have the same viewing features as calle.me.
Can you reopen a wallet on calle.me on a phone browser if privacy setting are set to clear cookies and data on browser exit? It looks like calle.me is supposed to store wallet info on the device.
