that's a good question. Right now we use $ which means dollars. There is a symbol for cents which is ¢ but we still use $ 0.32 when using cents. I think the correct term might be 0.32¢

Is there an actual symbol for sats? I remember reading somewhere they made up Bitcoin denominations but the denominations don't have symbols. We only have the â‚¿ which means a whole Bitcoin.

Everyone is just using the word sats because no symbol exists. Maybe they should invent one.

I prefer using bits over sats, but bits doesn't have a symbol either. I guess we could use â‚¿ but it would get confusing.

For example â‚¿21 might be confusing, does it mean 21 Bitcoins or 21/sats /21 bits
