I’ve been watching a bunch of luxury goods markets for the last couple years for signs of slowdowns in profligate spending and things are definitely cooling off.

Watches, computers and components, gucci guns and accessories, premium booze, and premium cigars are all easier to come by than they were a year ago. Prices are still up, but that could easily start to change if demand remains soft.

Can't wait for "collectors" ofwhisky to go away!!

No kidding. I took for granted being able to go into the grocery store and buy world class whisky any day of the week and it just all dried up within a year. I always wonder how much of that spending was done with debt.

Yeah I do the same looking at luxury watch market and prices for bringatrailer.com

Also how frequently I'm spammed with flash sales from online stores I've purchased from

Yeah I watch used heavy equipment auctions and the used aircraft markets too, just not quite as closely.

Saw a video the other day where a guy was at a Ritchie Brothers auction and there were two or three rows of Penske box trucks being sold.

Does the channel rhyme with "smeasel week"?

Yes indeed. 😂

Hopefully I can sell some real estate before the prices drop

gucci makes guns?
