VS Code seems to get real slow when it needs an update.
Is this intentional? Like, is Microsoft prodding me to do the update by making it slow so I notice? #asknostr

Ditch VSCode and join the vim gang.
I was VIM only for many years. VS Code won me over.
I have tried to use VSCode, cannot seem to allow myself to use MS tools for anything
use vs codium… only thing is I haven’t found how to use copilot with it

i wish there was better but at least as far as #golang jetbrains intellij based IDEs are the best, and not even that expensive at like $12/month
i've also used IDEA and Clion and RustRover and they all seem to be pretty good
i haven't used VSCode since about 2019... and it's still absolute shit for Go
