day 3 of playing guitar after a 6 year hiatus

some thoughts abt music & nostr:

would be cool if I could upload as a sample audio-only and others could record jamming with it and upload their sample under mine. Then a select button for users to choose whose additions to play simultaneously together. content begets content.

this one is slower than the last two days but I think I found a closed system to expand on. some timing and pressure mistakes in this one. if you have perfect pitch Iโ€™m sorry I canโ€™t read music at all and donโ€™t care about the key ๐Ÿค™ call it pubkey.

not sure what my video upload constraints are but I have to really downgrade quality to 420px and keep the video somewhere under 60 seconds it seems?

it's so soothing.

i dint know how you guys do it. i tried too little times w my guitar, that i know, but the control you must have over your fingers is insane

piano is way easier for me personally

guess it's a practice thing tho..

yea itโ€™s just time. got my 10k hours in young.

piano is a whole different beast! I want to accumulate enough btc to be able to buy a piano one day. got to practice regularly on and off growing up, super fun!

Got a keyboard about a month ago. First time learning music theory and playing piano.

Any tips for a beginner?

start w playing songs you know

really gets you into flow easier bc you know them already by sound

Good tip thanks!

yw! disclaimer tho: i made that up on the spot. i actually am not in a position to give advice. i only played around w keyboards like that myself and have nothing to compair to give actual sound advice ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Haha no worries.

I know so little at this point any advice is useful.

listen to music you like and play along with it till you discover its patterns

Nice jamming. ๐Ÿค™ Thatโ€™s a cool idea about layering other userโ€™s audio over your own and toggling on/off different tracks.

I could see myself really loving something like that.

A band could even spring up on that idea. Call it The Nostr Service.

are you using a DAW?

nope

working on something very much so focused on music collaboration/remixing on nostr with #[2]โ€‹ #[3]โ€‹ #[4]โ€‹
