Standing in line to get a free Slurpee, but one person is holding everyone up to buy lottery tickets. That is, she is happily eager to pay the "stupidity tax." If you're unfamiliar with the term, look it up. But, it's all good, because (a) that's one tax I'm not paying, and (b) free Slurpee!

Do you think the lottery is rigged?

No, I'm really not a conspiracy theorist. Just...them odds! I just can't understand why anyone would give money for lottery tickets.

Just to clarify, I'm not paying the stupidity tax not because I'm not stupid, I'm plenty stupid. (Just see my last post about plumbing and the hot/cold water feeds getting hooked up backwards!) I'm not paying the stupidity tax simply because I choose not to.

I've installed the hinges a cabinet backwards & didn't realize it until after I installed the back & stood it up.

I totally hear you. I really tried to look at things and get it hooked up right and was confident i had it the right way. If there's a way to do something stupid with this type of thing then I will find it.

Free slurpee? That's a health and time tax
