Not all clients support DMs. Use those. I couldn't do what I do without Nostr DMs. I have zero problems with them.

Mine are filled with mostly bots, which I have no way to filter out, and I don’t like that anyone can see who you’ve messaged and how often. 🤷🏻♂️
