Thank you. Mine would only want to lay in straw nests on boxes it seemed. If there wasn't a nice spot they would lay other places.
Ah gotcha. Initially I trained them to this kind of nest box, and used ceramic eggs to train them to the location. It took them a little while to lay in the box every time, but they learned eventually
