I think a lot of older folk will think younger people are being “rude” due to the generational differences in speak.
I’ve noticed on nostr, certain people consistently think i’m rude based off my notes and replies, and i never intentionally try and be rude, i just speak differently.

never is! i’ve gotten some ruthless notes about how i’m a bad person based on the way i speak to people on here. it’s hard to perceive tone online, especially across generations.
People are bored, and they're looking for a fight

Just say what you mean and let the chips fall where they may. Can't control how other people receive it. I never had an impression of you as being rude FWIW.
This is true for every generation going back to the start of recorded time. Most aging people adapt. Only the living fossils refuse to change.
