I haven't posted about Syria because holy-fuck it is complicated. And happened fast. And I don't have a simple good-guy bad-guy opinion on something this crazy complicated. It can't be explained as a simple US-Russia proxy war, or a simple Israel expansionist war, or a simple Jihad (HTS isn't actually jihadist). All the groups involved are both good and bad depending on which perspective you look at it from.

All I can say for sure is I don't like seeing people die, and I'm glad I'm not there.
