If you're "aging" a bottle of wine on your kitchen wine rack, you're doing it wrong. That's the worst place to store wine.

You're exposing it to light, temperature swings and pungent smells.

If this is you, find the excuse you've been waiting for.

Just open the bottle.

When you are actually ready for the 5-10 year commitment of aging wine, do yourself a favor and invest in proper storage. Wine needs darkness, stable temperature, and time, not your kitchen counter

Was going to ask what you recommend for storage?

Buy a wine fridge otherwise put it in the back of a cool closet and look for an excuse to drink it

Got myself a wine fridge specifically for Ben’s wine lol small little black & decker that holds like 6 bottles

Well done sir

If you’re not doing wine enemas you’re doing it wrong

Agree

Just get Costco wine in a box, it’s easier to store.

You can't ruin what is already bad

She ain’t aging it, she’s imbibing it a box at a time.

From experience when buying a wine cooler write down how many bottles it needs to hold, then buy a wine cooler with at least twice that capacity.

Smart. It's addictive to have low time preference
