goats are the best... around here they typically tether them tho, but the landscape is impossibly hilly and sloped, almost every flat area was made that way just for agriculture mainly

but you can tether them... a rebar with a loop bent in the end and a heavy rope and you can tie them, especially the boys anyway, around their horns

they even do it with young bulls here, but that bar has to be very firmly planted in the ground

they typically come and give them a new spot every day and the ropes are about maybe 15 feet long

When we first arrived at the farm, we were both tethered along these shiny rope things which was confusing at first. Then Chiva's broke one day, but she just hung out near me, because she's scared to be alone. So the human fixed it.

Then the next day mine broke, and I realised that it was kinda scary to be away from Chiva, so we stuck together.

Then we realised the male human kept bringing treats every day, so we made friends. Now I guess he trusts us untethered in this paddock, because we work close together to eat the weeds.

I WILL learn to jump that fence eventually though, because I suspect the treats are kept somewhere on the other side.

haha! i'm sure the hooman will be nice to you though, they are translating your messages and sending them to us
