I tried it thinking there's no way it would work well but it does.

That's gonna be so much time consuming tho even if I do electric sanding and I might not get an even bevel if I do it by hand.

But that's just me beign kinda lazy about it because it does work well.

I'm kinda pissed it works because now I don't have an excuse to make it that way other than I'm lazy... and I genuinely worry I'll realize it's not a good result when I do it on a whole belt and not just a small part

Sell it as a DYI kit with a piece of sandpaper. I'm only partially joking as I have seen DIY leather wallet kits in some store of Japanese goods. (The leather pieces were cut, but you had to sew them together.)
