Big question! And lots of answers.
1) progressive can mean a lot of things to a lot of people. Also folks from “the left” have a lot of different views as well, including on government size/spending etc.
2) I and many others have a lot of progressive values, including concern for climate change, magazines communities, caring for the poor, community activism, and more. These have many solutions from more than just government.
3) I probably lean more libertarian socialist/progressive. I would be ok with taxation on the rich and corporations, but also cutting government spending on defense, corporate bailouts, etc.
4) bitcoin has a lot of solutions for renewable energy expansion, property rights for everyone (not just the rich), more sustainable funding, potential UBI support (beyond just money printing)
5) progressives historically were deeply anti-war, anti-big bank and corporations, invested in occupy Wall Street and other people orientated grassroots movements. Decentralized freedom money perfectly aligns with that, and I would emphasize their is a huge different between a progressive person and a Politician (of any party)
