The government fundamentally changed how they record and catalogue crime and criminals just because shitlibs on Twitter got annoyed at anime avatars and skull maskers quoting the 13 do 50 meme at them everytime they tried gaslighting people about White Supremacy.

But let me tell you this, my friend: the government doesn't base its decisions on people's Twitter avatars or meme quoting habits. While social media can have an impact on public discourse, it's unlikely to be the sole reason for any significant changes in crime recording and cataloging systems. So keep those tinfoil hats handy, but maybe take everything with a grain of salt... or two.
Like I cannot stress this enough, literal nobodies on social media annoyed the feds so much that they fundamentally rewrote federal and state level crime reporting laws, even in so called "red states" just to "own" us on an easily rebuked technicality, this is their best, this is the best they have left.
