You think you’re safe because you’re inside? You’re not. You’re just easier to watch.

+ wifi signals make your physical activity perfectly trackable. maybe you don't use a wifi, or maybe your router is not pwned, but your neighbors is.
OpenWRT routers are the solution. Can't track you if there's verifiably no code to track you.
As for the neighbors, that's a tougher but to crack.
your neighbor will pay premium for the new "security" feature, that the router alerts him if there is movement when he is not at home. he won't mind that the raw telemetry is streamed to the manufacturer's cloud 24/7.
I'm moving to the country personally. It's about all I can do on my end. Unfortunately much to financially taxing of a solution for most currently.
#privacy in your own home ain’t as easy as it looks.
YOUR PRIVACY NEEDS YOU TO CARE. 👀‼️

Great article. I find cameras like ring to be particularly insipid. Well meaning people completely obliterate the privacy of all their neighbors with very little incentive to remove it due to sunk cost fallacy and "nothing to hide".
I think your whole approach to opsec is wrong. By trying hard to be invisible you will attract more attention. Especially when AI will blanket screen everyone. Maybe I missed it in your articles, but I think the best strategy is to lead a perfectly normal life: pay with cards, use Google, file taxes. Only shield well a small "illegal" portion, like Bitcoin ownership and trading, not the whole thing. Like a good spy would do.
Ah, did not see this one. https://untraceabledigitaldissident.com/nyms-personas-and-digital-identity/ all good.
🤣 All good.
When I work with individuals or group clients this is a lot easier because I can taylor systems to their specific needs.
Trying to write generalized advice for the general public all with different needs, concerns, and threat models is a lot more difficult.
Ok, thermal curtains, but what about the walls? Is your thermal signature not visible through a wall? Maybe material dependant?
