Be aware of "new" people seeking your generous Zaps. Sorry, but I find it odd if someone is brand new, but has a Lightning address and uses two popular hashtags on their second post without anyone telling them to do that on their first post all the while having an incorrectly filled out Nostr address. Now, I get it, NIP-05 or Nostr address is confusing for most people, but having a working Lightning address, now that's a bit suspicious. When we have Bitcoiners that have put BTC addresses and LNBC invoices in there. 🧐

It's suspect alright but how could we regulate against these bots cause I don't know what else to call them.?

we can't. this is just a call to be cautious. we're kind and help people here. this will be taken advantage of many times over and over again.

Yes I'm in total agreement I try to send out as many zaps as I take in spread around the zaps I'm not a wealthy man far from I gambled away 13k sats earlier on a stupid game of heads or tails I felt so stupid that could of going to someone genuinely in need.
