I doubt Wang 'decided they were passé', I'm guessing he just knew all along that it was a) stupid and b) racist to hire people who can't do the job you're hiring them for, because you pity them.

That said, reading the complete article (where the 'editors' removed all the 'fuck offs' because THAT is the problem with it) confirms the mind numbing stupidity of 'Haje Jan Kamps' and the very process and people that hired such a meretricious, inferior and stupid person.
